Erlendur, Zaddy and Oswald killer founded the band Zaddy GOK in 1955. They made a lot of slime-bounce music and quickly gained a cult following within the underground scene. Despite their talent, their excessive drinking and drug use threatened to derail their careers before they even took off. Nights were filled with beer, cigarettes and drugs. Beer Drinker's arrival marked a turning point for Zaddy GOK. With his influence, the band began to focus more on their drinking and less on their music. They embraced a new lifestyle centered around drugs, cigarettes and beer.
However, tragedy struck in the summer of 1958 when Erlendur Gestur was shot in the back of his fucking head on his birthday in Rome. His untimely death shook the band to its core, but they vowed to carry on in his memory.
Despite the loss, Zaddy GOK continued to tour and perform, captivating audiences with their unique blend of slime-bounce music. They became legends in their own right, leaving behind a legacy that would inspire generations of musicians to come. And every year, on the 20th of July, fans gather to celebrate Erlendur Gestur's life and play his hit songs.
